About Free Knitting Pattern
I’m Miriam Holt. I edit this knitting-pattern directory: I compare free yarn-brand patterns and send you to the publisher’s page. I didn’t design the listed patterns. The instructions, downloads, photography, and pattern support stay with the company that published each project.
What I do
Compare official pages, then send you on
I check the publisher’s page, record their difficulty wording, group projects by type, and note whether the pattern is a PDF or a printable web page. You finish the project from the original source.
What I don’t do
Host someone else’s pattern
I don’t copy instructions or present brand photography as my own. Exact project photos appear only with public permission or an approved promotional license. Each listing uses its own Unsplash or Pexels atmosphere photo, credited under the picture. Those shots are not the publisher’s finished object.
How I write a listing
Facts from the brand, notes from me
Measurements, yarn categories, gauge, publisher difficulty, file format, and access come from the current official page. My notes are for choosing: scale, materials, likely time, and the skills you should expect. They never replace the line-by-line pattern. If a download stops being free or a source disappears, I correct or remove the listing.

Recommendations
A future affiliate link will not buy a listing
I may someday add clearly disclosed yarn or tool links. Inclusion and my notes stay based on the knitting and its official source. Until a program allows a product feed or promotional image, I don’t treat membership as permission to reuse every photo on a brand’s website.
